Repair Analyst Siriporn “aoy” Atkins

Election Day in the United States is a week away, on‌ Tuesday, Nov.‌ 3. For one PSA team member, this year’s election has a special meaning. Two years ago, Repair Analyst Siriporn “aoy” Atkins became a U.S. Citizen and for the first time, she was eligible to cast her vote for President. Here is what she said about her experience:

“This past Friday for the first time in my life, I cast a ballot to vote in the United States Presidential Election using the early voting process. I became a United States citizen in 2018 and to me, voting is an important part of our civic duty. I could not really imagine how it would feel to be involved in such an important election, but standing there filling in my ballot and submitting into the machine, I was filled with great pride to be part the democratic process as a citizen of the United States.”
