PSA Airlines opening DFW maintenance base
DAYTON, Ohio, April 1, 2024 – PSA Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group, Inc., and leading regional airline, today opened a maintenance base in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas (DFW), making it the ninth maintenance base in PSA’s network.
The DFW base will serve as a line-maintenance operation and strengthen PSA’s support of the American Airlines network, while enhancing reliability to the operation and customers.
“We are excited to be able to kick off maintenance operations in DFW as it will make a strategic addition to our maintenance base operations. The opening of Dallas will make immediate positive impacts to our portfolio of flying for American Airlines, as well as brings our maintenance efforts in Dallas in-house, allowing us to work more quickly and efficiently on aircraft,” said Richard Ugarte, Vice President A/C Maintenance and Engineering.
Initially, maintenance operations will be conducted out of Terminal E due to construction. Once construction ends, the maintenance operation will move to its permanent location in Terminal B.
The DFW maintenance base joins Akron-Canton Airport (CAK), Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (CLT) Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), Dayton International Airport (DAY), Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP), Norfolk International Airport (ORF), Pensacola International Airport (PNS) and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV).
