What Dispatchers Do
Dispatchers at PSA plan, coordinate, and oversee flight operations every day. They’re responsible for flight planning, weight-and-balance calculations, fuel assessments, and weather monitoring. Working closely with pilots, air traffic controllers, and ground operations, Dispatchers ensure flights stay on time, meet safety protocols, and follow all regulatory guidelines.

Becoming a Dispatcher takes dedication and specialized training. Dispatchers must earn their FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate and master the technical and regulatory knowledge that goes into safely managing flights. Once certified, they continue developing through hands-on experience and mentorship opportunities.
