From Resume to Training: Your Guide to Becoming a PSA Flight Attendant

A Flight Attendant career with PSA Airlines is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about travel, safety, and exceptional customer service. As one of the fastest‑growing airlines in the American Eagle network, we’re looking for candidates who exemplify professionalism, positivity, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills.

If you’re considering applying, this is a great time to strengthen your application starting with a resume that clearly highlights your customer service experience, teamwork, communication skills, and any safety‑related or compliance‑based training. A clean, organized, and role‑specific resume helps our recruiting team quickly understand why you’re a strong fit for the PSA Flight Attendant.

What to Expect in the Interview Process

We encourage candidates to present themselves confidently by wearing business‑professional attire and bringing a strong customer‑focused mindset that defines our culture.

At PSA, our interview process always includes group interaction, as teamwork is central to the Flight Attendant role. You can expect activities that demonstrate how you communicate, collaborate, and interact professionally with others. Clear communication, respect, and situational awareness all go a long way in making a positive impression.

You will also be asked scenario‑based questions, which are a consistent part of our interview process. These scenarios reflect real Flight Attendant responsibilities such as assisting passengers, responding to unexpected situations, and upholding safety procedures. In every response, focus on safety, customer service, calm decision‑making, and problem‑solving, as these are key qualities we value at PSA.

Your Journey Through PSA Flight Attendant Training

If selected, you’ll begin PSA’s 4‑week paid Flight Attendant Training, a fast‑paced, comprehensive program designed to prepare you for success in the skies. Training includes:

  • Hands‑on safety instruction
  • Emergency procedure drills
  • Aircraft familiarization
  • Customer service and communication exercises
  • Team‑based learning and practice scenarios

Throughout the program, you’ll learn from experienced instructors while building strong professional relationships with your classmates setting the foundation for the teamwork required on every flight.

By graduation, you’ll be fully prepared to deliver exceptional service, maintain strict safety and compliance standards, and support our commitment to reliability across the American Eagle network.
