DAYTON, OHIO – PSA Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group, Inc. and leading regional airline, has been awarded the 2023 OnCon Icon Award for Top 100 Talent Acquisition teams. Winners represent some of the top individuals and teams in the entire world and deemed to have made a significant positive impact on their company’s business through innovation and thought leadership.

“Airlines are some of the most people-intensive operations, and running a safe and reliable airline like PSA requires having the aviation industry’s best talent,” said Vice President of Talent Management Christine Hollanshead. “Competition is among the fiercest of all industries, so for our Talent team to be recognized as one of the top 100 Talent Acquisition teams in the world, it is remarkable and a testament to their ability to convey PSA’s driven, reliable and caring culture and position us as a leading regional airline.” Christine also went on to say, “This award is also a testament to the collaborative culture with all operational teams at PSA Airlines. To hire safely and reliably, we must understand our operational groups’ needs and work together. I firmly believe this is how we’ve been able to achieve this.”

PSA’s Talent Management team’s vision is to be a collaborative and innovative team that attracts, retains, and supports an engaged and inclusive workforce with a passion to embody The PSA Way. “Our team members are experts at identifying and onboarding  the best pilots, mechanics, flight attendants, and corporate team members,” said Meg Muller Director of Talent Management, “and despite significant competition for the industry’s best, our Talent team was able to hire about 1,500 team members in 2023.”

2023 was the inaugural award for the team category and the criteria for selection included TA teams that made a considerable impact on their organization, made strong contributions to their job function community through thought leadership, showed innovation in their projects and demonstrated exceptional leadership.
