Wheels Up Wednesday: Rebecca Ruiz
A career in aviation can open doors to experiences that might otherwise remain bucket-list dreams. Through Wheels Up Wednesday, PSA team members share travel stories made possible by their flight privileges, along with the memories, perspectives and adventures they’ve collected along the way.
For Rebecca Ruiz, a PHL-based flight attendant, flight privileges have helped create some unforgettable memories.
“I love what I do, and flight privileges make our adventures even better,” Rebecca said.
This year alone, those adventures included a trip to Italy, where Rebecca’s husband visited Europe for the first time. Alongside family, they explored Rome, visited the Vatican and stood beneath the Sistine Chapel ceiling, and spent time in Tuscany.
A few months later, Rebecca and her husband headed west for a birthday trip to Montana. Their original plan was to fly into Bozeman, but changing flight loads led them to Billings instead.
What could have been an inconvenience turned into an unexpected adventure.
The couple discovered small towns, chatted with locals, explored Yellowstone National Park and took in the beauty of the Montana landscape along the way.
For Rebecca, though, flight privileges aren’t just about vacations.
She and her husband use them regularly to stay connected with family in Puerto Rico, making trips to the island throughout the year.
Whether it’s exploring a new country, discovering an unexpected destination or simply spending time with loved ones, Rebeccas says flight privileges have made it easier to say yes to experiences that matter most.
